MIl calls us--she sitting her grandkids--and wants to stop by.  I tell her 2:00. It's nearly three now.  Do I go ahead and go grocery shopping as I PLANNED before she invited herself over or what?
That woman is going to be late for her own funeral I swear.

Did she ever show up??? Did you make it to the grocery store??? Hope your day ended up being better than you thought it was going to be.

I would leave and go to the grocery store.  I figure if she doesn't care enough to be on time or at least call to let you know she's running late then I woudn't waste my time waiting for who knows how long.  I'm just hateful that way though.

I know the feeling mine says "I'll call by late morning" then when you go out at 9 and back in 15 you get left a huffy message, "I did tell you I was coming" guess it depends on what you acll late morning.
Drives me nuts, last time Nick just left her a note on the door saying as she was coming LATE mornign we would take the dogs aout at 9  for half an hour and be back in time.
