Here is Baltimore, it is 9:27 p.m. and the fireworks are going off in the pouring driving rain!!

Th Herd woke up and got all excited to go outside - bark, yip, chase around after the fireworks noise from the next block, and mark the back yard for the umpteenth time.  I threw open the door, they all ran outside, got their front feet wet, and BACKED into the house!!

I'm nearly lost control laughing at these animals.  What wimps!!  Now they are all back to sleep and I guess they're going to hold it til the morning! :2funny:

Oh dear, "The Tenants" just got home, howling and crying.  More about eviction later, but it won't be so easy.

Happy Fourth to All!

Karen  (Now it's coming down in BUCKETS!!!)

I'm doing much better with dachshunds and rabbits."

 Cookie would get along great with your herd! The second her toes get back, she walks backwards back in the house!  :idiot:

Happy 4th to you and the herd!

The Zs have settled down, but we've got them firing off plenty here.  The rain seems to stop these folks for a short time.

Mother nature had quite a set of fireworks of her own today as we found ourselves under a Tornado Warning this afternoon.   A funnel cloud was spotted, but never touched down.   I did find a debris field from the wind, mostly leaves and other vegetation, only about 1 mile from our house.   A bit too close for comfort!   20 - 25 years ago, tornado warnings were as rare as hen's teeth around here, now it seems like we get a few each year.

Zeke seemed far more irritated with the thunder than the fireworks.   Like your herd, he went for the door, decided it was too wet and put it in "reverse".
