Meeko, my shepard mix, she is 10, had surgery again today.  She now has clean teeth and one less turmor.  She had 9 benine turmors removed from a mamory gland last month.  Today she had a good cleaning of her teeth and another one removed.  Vet called and said she is doing well, I pick her up at 7:45 pm eastern time tonight!  That is 2 down one to go!  All the turmors were benine so far, this one looked the same as the last, results will be back next week.  Now one more mamory and one small on on her neck and she should retire in style!  George misses her and has sat in the picture window all day looking for her, despite Graces efforts to engage him in play!  She should be fine, but rays are welcome!

Those fatty tumors can be a real pain but sounds like you've got things under control and thank goodness that is all they are.  Some dogs just have a propensity towards those darn things.
