I'm GLAD to be HOME!

Dis is Toby an I gotta tell ya....this collar thing is humiliatin!  My dad cut it back a little cuz I kept trippin on it.  Dey don't make em fer short legs, dat is fer sure!  All day I got to hang out wif mama .  I got some scrambled eggies wif cheese when I got home dis morning.  Dat was GREAT!  Course den what do I see?  Mama givin Buelah an Oscy an dat baby dog some scrambled eggies TO!  Whats wif dat?  I don't see dem habin to wear dis stupid thing on their heads! 

Terri here....Toby is doing really well...although he REALLY doesn't like the collar.  Here are a couple of pictures of the ear.  There are little plastic tubes over the stiches to hold everything in place.  The ear is stiched on both sides and open a bit in the back to let it continue to drain.  Hope I don't gross anyone out.

Hurray, you're back home and you did get some scrambled eggies!     Brekke says to look at it this way, Toby - if they get some eggies, too, then you'll get some if they have anything from which to recuperate - that's only fair!  There are advantages like this for being in a multiple dog household.  Brekke has to count on her own self to get scrambled eggies.  No, your ear isn't gross - I've seen worse things.  We are glad you're back home, so you can feel the love!

The stitches will come out in two weeks.  He has to wear the collar for a week at least.  Toby-Man says.....

Awwww Toby - so glad you are home !!!!  Bummer on the collar - but it looks softer than the hard white plastic cones !!!!   Just milk it sweet boy and mom and dad will feel sorry for you having to wear it !!!!  LOL !!!!  As long as your ear is healing - we don't care what it looks like !!!!  Doesn't look bad at all to me !!  Have a good restful day !

Once I had to wear it an' 'cause i'm so short, it kept getting caught on the stairs.  I'd get halfway up the flight an' the @#$%^&* thing would toss me back down to the bottom.  My hooman was sympathetic, but as soon as she saw I was o.k.,she'd start laffin'at me.  What is her deal, anyway?

Glad your home Toby-Man...  I know how you feel bout them darn stitches...  I get mine out on Tuesday...  But, I don't have the cute little collar, maybe they should give me one so I'll quit itching my ankle...  lol   Hope your back to yourself soon....  And, there was definately no grossing out here...   Heck, we were looking at my plate and screws today and Emmy licked the plate...  Now that was gross...    :crazyeyes:    EWWWW....   But, your still just as handsome as always....  Love~ Auntie Tara
