Adding new baby-update

Thank you so  much for all the feedback! This precious little girl also has a story behind her also. I spoke with the breeder and she (the baby-12 weeks old) was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I guess two of the adult mommies got into a scuffle and (Roxy) was walking by and one of the mommies bit her on the neck. Well, it turns out that when she bit her, it put a hole in her trachea so she has been in recovery from that. She will go back to vet this week to see if the hole is closing on its own and if it isn't they will do surgery to close it. The breeder seems to think it is healing good because she has been eating better this week. I am going to meet her today and she should get the vets report by friday. I guess i am a little nervous with bringing her home because of what happend to her. I don't want Max to possibly bite her again and traumatize her again. The breeder said she wants her to go to a home where there is another dog because she is so used to being around other Doxies that she would be lonly if not. I will see how the visit goes today and see what the vet has to say.

Hi, Kim.  That is so wonderful about the new puppy!  Rays on the way for her trachea to heal.  Just be sure to keep an eye on Max and the puppy, and crate her if you leave the room or the house.  I am sure many will be standing by with names, if you want ideas!  All you need to do to post a response, is click on the "reply" button for a particular post, or scroll down to the last one, if it's in general to the topic.  You'll get the hang of it in no time!  What color and coat is your future diva?

She is a beautiful red smooth coat. I am taking my camera today for our first visit. I will try and post some pics of her and my "Max" too. The breeder had named her "Roxy" because they had to name her something so i will probably keep that name. I had originally had picked out "Molly" for a girl, but i like "Roxy" too. Yes, we have a crate already from when Max was a puppy,so i will definently be using that. Also, my two boys are home this summer so they can keep her company while i am at work untill she gets adjusted.Well, i am off work now and off to meet my new furbaby! How do you use those smiley face icons?? I try touse them and it just comes up as the name of it?

It will show as type until you click post and then the smilies will appear in your message.  Roxy is a good name - that's what brand of clothing my goddaughter seems to prefer.
