and da toe chops all in one day?????  WHAT IS WIF DAT????????          First ting dis morning, my lured me into da bed wif an idea of cuddles and da belly rubs, you know what she did afer dat???  SHE CHOPPED MY TOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!         Den, when shes was all done, I ran back to my sunspot on da floor....  And, den she called me for more cuddles and belly rubs, den she took my pwetty collar off....      And, den, she picked me up (just scooped me right up in her arms) so I tought, hey more cuddles.....   NOPE!!!!  She stuck me in da tub.....  Now usually I like my baffs, but dis was jus too early in da morning for me....  It wasn't eben time for me to be out of bed, she did all dis before 9:30 dis morning!!!!  Can you bewieve her?????      Den, I had to get my collar back on and get all gussied and she spwayed me wif some puppy perfume!!!!  EWWWWW!!!!   Now, I am a girl, yes, but, I am more like a tom-girl-puppy.....  I DO NOT LIKE DAT PERFUME STUFF!!!!!    :scratch:    Den, afer all dat, her and my daddy tooked me to da school for my sissies science report....  I was a hit!!!!       But, boy were dere alot of kids dere....   And, you know what else was in dat room???  SNAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!    :crazyeyes:   You should of seen my daddy (he's scared of dem snakes), he was white when we left dere....  Cuz, he was standin right next to da cage wif da BIG snake in dere....     We eben passed out da Dogerslist Brochures, since dat my momma said dat not only us doxies can get dat icky IVDD....  And, den we found out dat dere is another Doxie here in town, yep another little girl...  She is dapple though...  We might get a playdate....  WOOHOO!!!    :meme:   :meme:     :apls:   Well, dat is my good and bad news for the day....  Hope none of you other puppies had to hab a baff and da toe chops....   Lub~ Emmy Girl....

Guess what else Emmy!  My hoosissie is gonna come to my house next week.  Yep...she goes to da college in New York City and she is gonna come to my house fer a whole WEEK!  WooHoo....when my hoobrudder was here he gab me LOTS of tweats when mama wasn't lookin.  All I gots to do is look adorable and gib kisses and dey gib me tweats!

I have a feeling we have two little girls (princesses that is) on this board that will never have to worry about their humans not being wrapped around their little paws! I think they have the whole board wrapped around their paws with the letters they write to each other. Sometimes I think we could publish a Weiner Writings book with the posts from Beatrice and Emmy and Porky and Scooter. We could also include the ones from King Sol when Kirby arrived and I'm sure we have many others!

Terri, when is your other daughter's wedding? Is it coming up soon?

Hi Theresa,
It is my oldest girl Retta who is getting married on December 8.  It was originally scheduled for September but for a number of reasons they changed the date.  I am getting soooo exicted!  Actually I am glad that they changed the date as I have still not found a dress.  It's evening and formal and I figure I will know it when I see it.  In the mean time I am making an effort to shed some unwanted weight.  UUGGHHHHH!

My middle girl Julie is coming home next week...just for a few week unfortunately, but she is working in the city this summer.

Meghan is adapting to being at home, and it is going pretty well. She is still trying to clean stuff out of her room and make room for other things. We have put a good bit of her things from school in storage and will probably add more. She sent her application in this week for her social work license and hopefully it will go through easily so she can take the social work board and start working in her field. In the meantime she is working for a central leasing office for apartments that she has worked for before. The pay is really good and the hours are flexible. She may stay with them after she is working in her "real" job, just to make some fun money and save up for a car, or for a nest egg. I will say one thing, the house isn't quite as quiet anymore, and the dogs are loving having her home!

The wedding will be wonderful in December. Where do they live? As for shedding pounds, Meg and I are planning on doing that together now that she is home. We just have to pick our start date. That will work better than saying we will do it "sometime this summer". We have made a promise to have a date on the calendar to start by the end of this weekend.
If you have any great low-cal recipes let me know. I'll do the same. I got a new Low-fat crock pot recipe book for my birthday that I'm planning to try out.
