Well Tonight started off like any night at the bookstore.  I was rushing to answer phones, complete book orders, take special orders, nd help the customers at my counter, simultaneously.   The night began to slow WAY down as the hours went by.  I decided, hey, there aren't any customers this would be the perfect time to dust and vaccuum the store.    As I surveyed the store's messy floor, I noticed right by the door there was a larger rock or pebble.  Well, at least that's what I thought.   :scratch:

As I walked up  closer with the vaccuum, I noticed it was a brown color.  Then I saw the object for what it truly was.....a big fat, nasty, ugly, horrible Cockroach!!!!!!!!!!    Lucky for me it was dead, and I screamed on the inside as i quickly sucked it up with the vaccuum.  :crazyeyes:  Then, i thought i should alert customer service and the maintenance men in the mall.  Their response really grossed me out an horrified me.  They said, "Oh?  (like it was no big deal) Well there are actually quite a few in the mall, no need to worry about it.  They are harmless."      

Harmless???!!!  I don't think so.  Especially for someone who has an irrational phobia of bugs! :crazyeyes:  I am honestly grossed out enough, that i am considering quitting my job and NEVER, EVER, IN A MILLION YEARS, coming into this mall again!!!!     I am going take a shower, trying to scrub off all my skin as soon as I get home.  Plus, I will burn my clothes!

EWWWW, EWWWW and double EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!  I don't blame you for freaking out, I would of done the same thing, but I would of probably screamed out loud...   And, to suck it up in the vacuum???  AHHHH!!!  I couldn't of even done that...   You are brave oh great one....  lol  WTG....          Now I got the creepies just thinking about it....  I had an apartment once, and I finally complained enough about the bumps under the carpet that they put new in, well it was a bunch of dead, yes dead cockroaches....  So, I definately feel your pain....   OK, now I gotta go shower....  EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

Ewwww yuck yuck YUCK!  Our first apartment (25 years ago) was overrun with the ugly things.  It was DISGUSTING and we are fairly CLEAN people.  It doesn't matter.  Once they're in a place, they unpack their bags and make themselves ta home.  Oh!  And they're fond of having their friends and extended family drop by, too.

Florida is FULL of horrible bugs!  We have to have our house and yard treated every three months to keep the horrid things away.  From time to time I find one of those HUGE cockroaches belly up in front of the door and I cannot...simply cannot, touch them.  UUUGGGHHHH..... thank goodness for my husband!  LOL
I have never seen one in the house and would probably have to move if I did! 
They call them Palmetto bugs but a roach is a roach no matter what it is called....and these things are HUGE.  Creepy, disgusting, huge, ugly BUGS!  Yuck!
