Penny's Big Day

Today was the first day that Penny was released from her crating and she is staying outside while I am at work! :apls: I keep checking the camera for her but she has only made two appearances and is mostly staying in her dog house. She seems to be improving each day and is walking much better. She is still weak in her rear legs but we're working on that. She is still on the Prednisone and Imuran. I have to take her to the vet today for her CBC to make sure her white blood cell count isn't too low from the last round of injections. Here is a still pic from the camera of her from earlier this morning.

I was just coming to post.....I checked in about 10 minutes ago and scanned the camera and found her laying in the sun.......then just now went back and didn't see her. It did look like the covers in the dog house were plumped up. Go Penny !!!!

Penny is adorable! She sounds like she's doing really well in her recovery. Sunning herself will make her feel better I'm sure. SMOOCHIES to her!

What's the link for Pennycam again? Whatever I tried to go to wasn't there.

She looks so sweet sitting there! Oooooh, warm sun. Wish we could have some of that warmth here in Ohio!

I was worried about that too, but it hasn't seemed to bother it at all. I was worried she would get sun burned

We were worried about that too, as Cookie tans so much she has a dark tanned belly!

But so far her back hasn't burned either.
