Patty-
You had posted a recipe for Velvet Fudge - I think that's what you called it - made with Velveeta cheese.  I wanted to pass that along to my sister.  Any chance you could repost?  Thanks!

If she still needs it- I have that recipe, it was posted Aug. 25, 2004 9:53 am--you might still be able to find it.

I actually found a recipe online that uses Velveeta.  I'm not sure if it's the same one or not, but it turned out pretty good!

VELVET FUDGE
1/2 pound Velveeta Cheese
1/2 pound (two cubes) I Can't Believe Its Not Butter, or real butter
2 pounds powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Melt Velveeta cheese and butter over low heat.  Stir to blend.  Sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder together.
Remove cheese/butter mixture from heat and add vanilla.  Add the powdered sugar/cocoa mixture.  Fold in the nuts.  Pour into lightly greased 8"x8" pan.  Refrigerate until firm.  This freezes well.  Makes 36-48 pieces.
Keep refrigerated or it will be too soft.

Note:
1. Sifting the powdered sugar and cocoa powder together eliminates those small white balls of sugar you sometimes get with powdered sugar.
2. I found that using I Can't Believe Its Not Butter works better than real butter, the texture of the fudge was smoother.
