Catching up & a Card for the board

Sorry I have been away for so long.  I have had some serios healyh issues and am slowly getting better!

Our tree is up, and I even decided to go ahead and decorate a bit inside too, lol.  (I had previously decided I just wasn’t into it this year lol. -It only took about 15 minutes into getting the tree up to change me mind!)

And to celebrate, my Christmas cactus that was given to me when Mariah was born (August 2004) bloomed with one huge gorgeous bloom today!  Thank goodness that I’d planned on using a corral to block off the tree, or Mariah would have pulled it over two or three times by now.

Ming (our shihtzu that thinks he's a doxie) just sniffed it and walked away.  The only reason he would go under it is to see what Tonka was doing.  Tonka has to approve the trees each year or so he thinks.  It must have met with his approval, because it’s till standing today!

So glad to hear from you.  I got your Christmas card and loved the picture of the girls.  Both are growing so quickly.  Hope you are feeling much better.  I bet the girls and the furkids were happy to have a tree.  One year I decided not to put up a tree and really regretted that decision later.
