by a doxie???? Schatzi was giving me kisses earlier this afternoon and then suddenly decided she just HAD to readjust her ears. Only problem was she was still pretty close to my face. The tips of those ears really sting when they hit the face, let me tell you. Randy said she did the same thing to him a few days ago. Sooooo, if this hasn't happened to you yet, let it be a warning. If your doxie is giving you kisses and looks like they are about to start shaking and readjusting their ears, move away FAST!!!! Those things could be classified as a weapon!

Personally I have been ear whipped and tail slapped more time then I can think of! I just figured it was part of owning a doxie!?! and yes it hurts!!!

I've never been ear whipped but I've been tail whipped.It hurts when you have short pajama pants on and nothing on your legs and a dog between your legs when he's shaking and hits your legs.

ROTFL. Only once for me, right in the eyeball, add some long hair to the ears and it really stings!

LOL !!! I have gotten the whip before - doing the shake after emerging from the covers.......  the DO sting !!!

Yep...ears and tails both!  Sometimes both from different furkids at the same time...if that makes any sense!  LOL.... they sure do keep our lives interesting!
