Porky here: I am a "new" dog!

Guess what evwybody?!  Yesterday, momma looked at me and said, "I wish you could just be a good boy for a whole day."  And know what?  I have been today!!   :thumb: dis is da first day i have not gotten into anyfing, eaten anyfing I'm not supposed to, ran off wif stuff, or anyfing!  I have been da perfect angel today.     Let me tell ya, it wasn't easy. 
We had a major bweakfrough today, according to momma.  Since grandma was busy, and daddy was at work, momma had to leave me home alone to watch da house while she went to a meeting.  Momma held my little nose and looked me straight in da eye and said, "Porky, be good."   And den she left.  No kennel or anyfing!   Dis is da first time i eber got allowed to be outta dat fing while she was gone.  Da whole time, I just layed on da couch and watched out the back door.  I eben figured out to turn on da tv all by myself.  Dat was fun!   When momma came home I was sleeping and boy was she proud of me!  Maybe next time she has to leave me i can have my fweedom like today.  Long as i'm a good boy. 


Porky's mom here:  I was amazed at how well behaved Porky was when i was gone.  I hated to leave him in his kennel since i knew i would be gone for 3 hours.   I asked the neighbor lady to come check on him after two hours and then let him out if he needed to.  She told me after i got home that she came in and found Porky lying on the couch beside the tv remote fast asleep.  She got a kick out of the fact that he had stepped on the remote and turned on the tv.   That's exactly where i found him, on the couch watching animal planet. LOL     I am so proud of how well behaved he has been today. He has been listening to commands and behaving so well, its almost scary!    I think the power struggle thing he has been doing for the last few months is over!

Porky Pie sweet boy, you had an awesome day!  It's hard for your mama to leave you on your own...because she worries about you!  Just keep being a good boy and pretty soon you will have your freedom all the time!

Awww, Porky you are such a good boy...  I am sure your momma was real proud of you...  Unfortunately I still have to kennel Emmy, and when we get home she acts like we've been gone for years instead of just a couple of hours...  But, I am sure she like you will figure out how to turn on the TV and watch the door...  We are real proud of you for learning how to turn on the TV and entertain yourself...  You are just a cutipatootie....  Keep being a good boy, so you can stay out when you get left home...  What a sweetheart...  Tell you momma to give you lots of kisses and belly rubs for me...  Emmy sends puppy kises to you as well..
