I am mad at Momma!!!

Porky here:  I am so mad today!!!  Momma and daddy went in the car somewhere and when they got back, some other lady was with daddy, not momma.  This lady had short hair!!!!  I barked at her cause I didn't want her in my house.   Can you believe, she is still here 5 hours later?!   I don't know why, but she sure sounds like she stole momma's voice too.  I'm snuggling with her now, but i'm stil suspicious of her.   She keeps telling she is momma, but i know she's lying.  Momma has long soft hair that I like to chew on and cuddle with!   

Hi everyone!   I got my haircut short today because I was tired of long hair.  When I came home, Porky instantly started barking and shaking.  He sure was mad!!!  I think he's confused about what happened. LOL  I have had basically the same hairstyle since he came home with us, so I guess its trumatic for him not to have any hair to nibble on anymore    He is starting to be a little more at ease with me now though. I think he's finally figuring it out.   Either that or he thinks he has a new momma. 

Also....we got a new truck today!!!   I am so excited!!! It is a 1999 Dodge Dakota RT.  It is in really great condition and we got a great deal on it.   Also it has a backseat, or  a Porky seat as my hubby and I call it.   Its a really pretty blue color also.  And...my husband got a job at Schwans.  he has wanted to work for them for a while so we are happy about that.   I married the ice cream man!!!  :apls:  Now..tell me is there anything better than free ice cream?!!  Ok, ok its not free but we get a discount on it, good enough for me!!!    :thumb:

That's funny!  I'm surprised that once Porky didn't smell you that his objections would cease.   While most dachsies do have very good visual acuity, it's usually a back-up to their all-important sense of smell.   I know I get funny looks from Zeke and Zora  (and Jessica, for that matter) when I come through the door with my cycling clothes on, but once they hear my voice, it's okay by them.

That is too funny anything new or out of place Patches barks at it the new can opener its the new one that goes by itself she really goes crazy over it. I have long hair too have been thinking of getting it cut too if  I do will let you know what Patches says about it.

That was Porky's problem.  he wouldn't come close to smell me. Which is why he was so upset.  Once he came close he was okay.
