Bandit had a great birthday yesterday.  He woke up to a breakfast of scrambled eggs covered in cheese.  (made by my brother)  Then he got to go to a neighbor's house and run free in their yard for a few hours.   (basically till he was too tired to run anymore)   My parents don't have a completely fenced in yard like our neighbors do.   Then we had the family party for him.  He and Porky cuddled and gave love bites to each other all afternoon.   Bandit ate his cake in two big gulps!  (What a pig!)
In the evening, my husband and I packed up Porky and Bandit and brought them home to the lake.  They swam and played in the water for quite awhile.  My mom came and picked Bandit up last night at 10.   He looked so happy yesterday when he was playing.   I think its the happiest he has ever been.
He had some problems with going potty in the house yesterday but that is pretty normal for him.   He has a very bad submissive urinating issue since we got him.  I wasn't able to get any pictures of Bandit because he was pretty nervous all day.  i didn't want to scare him more by bringing out the scary camera. Overall, I think Bandit had a great day!

Also.....Peter is doing so well!!  His leg is almost completely healed!!!    He still has 4 more days of antibiotics to take, but is doing so well the vet is debating whether or not to just stop the meds tomorrow.   Since we had to keep Peter inside and on crate rest, we were keeping him in the bathroom, where it was warm and where Porky couldn't get in.   Originally he was supposed to be on crate rest for 4 days.   The vet told us it would be ok to let him out of the crate yesterday, but keep him away from Porky.  He roamed around the bathroom quietly all day yesterday and then last night, he started yowling very loudly.  he was not happy in the bathroom at all.   He even found an escape route we didnt know about!   After staying up all night putting him back in the bathroom over and over again, we called the vet this morning to have her come take a look at his leg.   She gave us the official ok to send him back outside since that's what he wanted.   As soon as he got outside he found his "baby" cat and brought it up to the house for food.   I'm glad he is doing so well.  I just hope we can find him when its time for his medicine tonight. The vet said he at least needs the medicine one more time, tonight and if he doesn't get it tomorrow, it should be no big deal.  I still can't believe the gaping hole in his leg has already closed up.  He must have the immune system of Superman!!!  LOL
