Hello To All from the U.S. East Coast ( not too far from Va. Beach and Washington DC... to give ya a better idea of where I'm located).
     I'm SOOOO happy that I found this site (thru a dachshund link)--- it's really helping me during a rough time...  found out last week that my mini-doxi has mouth and throat tumors/cancer. My wonderful Vet operated... but it's so bad that she couldn't get it all.... and it's breaking my heart :heart:  Now, I have a wonderful place to come to that truely understands how we feel about our "fur-babies".  Thanks for being here!

Welcome to the message board.  My husband, Kevin, replied to your post about Miss Harley.  Of couse she will be in our prayers.

Do you know about the Mid-Atlantic Dachshund picnic?  It will be near us, Manassas.  A bit of a drive for you, but doable if you REALLY want to go.  It's coming up on October 7.  We had to pass on the Northern Virginia dachshund meetup yesterday because of Skeeter's back, but if she recovers we will be good to go on October 7!
