has become a water baby. ...............a few  weeks ago on our big sat or sun walk we pass  a man made duck pond with about two foot concrete edging.  Nick has Oliver on his extenda lead and he was running as always along the edge and Nick was telling him No, and I said not to worry as  he is not a water baby. LO and behold he put his front paws in, I honestly thought he had slipped. Well to-day he ran straight in and went swimming    ...............Meanwhile the other  did a rub in duck poop............ we had then to put him in the car and go home him with a big stupid grin on his face(Oliver not NIck). It was NIcks car we had taken.

us here, boy did we have fun, cannot wait to go to nannies and go int he river with da other guys, Amy though may have to have the "B" word.

LOL LOL!! I LOVE it Roberta! Nothing cuter than a doxie having fun with what they like to do most, even if it does usually mean lots of clean up for the "parents". Funny how Oliver discovered the water, was it hot out? Hallie surprised me this summer by going into the river all by herself several times (no swimming just up to her shoulders) but it was 103 degrees out...normally she would be mortified at the thought. Yesterday we were at a horse show and she had a ball rolling in horse poop! So she'd be right at home with your two.  :thumb:

Dee Dee its still about 16 degree's C here and the wind had an edge to it. Now horse poop was Emma's domain,  and she never let a chance go by. I do hope he keeps going in as I think its fun to see them swimming.

OMG - too funny !!!  My Brandy is my roller too - she will find something to roll in every morning on our walk.  She is always lagging behind me - so I don't realize she has dropped and rolled until she is doing it !!!!!  How funny that Oliver decided to check it out - sounds like he is hooked !!!!
