Dee and Dave,
It is sure nice to meet you in print.  I was lucky enough to meet Dave . Sarge and Looie in person.  Maybe on my next trip to see my sons over in western Washington,  I can meet Dee too.
One of my sons works for Washington state too .... but I guess he is in the wrong part of the state to meet you. (Highway Patrol offices in Tumwater)

Happy POD, you two!  I have seen so many piccies of Sergeant, and now Looie, I am amazed to realize this is the first time I've seen piccies of you two!  It is nice to put faces to posters and chatters - hey, where are you two in chat, anyway?  Your non-furkids look good, too!  Dee - I like your dream car choice, and Rick likes Dave's...

I promise we will be back to chat......seems like the weekends this summer have been full with activities between graduations, weddings, and stuff.  Now that things have calmed down and on Saturday, we are getting our new computer set up (our current one is getting real tired), we'll be back.  With the new system, we'll have much better luck with the chat side.

Great POD, guys.  I love the Hobo story.  Dee, did your mother's hair ever stop standing on end after that? LOLOLOL

Very nice family pic.  I didn't realize your house in Green Acres was so nicely appointed!!!

That picture of Sargie & Looie has been a fav of mine since you 1st posted it.  I can just hear Looie saying "He's my brudder and no one else can have him".

My mom always told me that I was the reason why her hair turned silver/white before she was 40!   Being the "baby" of the family, I tried all sorts of things.....getting my brother in trouble by saying he locked me out of the house because he had his girlfriend over and didn't want the "pest" around.  He really did lock me out of the house....told me our doxie, Dusty, was caught in the fence (he wasn't) and then locking the door on me when I ran out.  I just went to the neighbors house until Mom and Dad arrived home.  Things like that, that my Mom and Dad wondered about -- here was this quiet, shy little girl, who always managed to find trouble....mainly initiating it and getting others in trouble.  That was fun especially with my two sisters and brother.  The threats of running away stopped when I was 7.....I told my folks I was going to run away.....again.....so this time my Dad got my little suitcase out, packed my clothes, put some toys in a paper bag, had my mom make me peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the road...handed me the stuff and said there's the door.  I asked if I could wait until later to go and he said no, you said you wanted to run away, so go!  Boy, did I back down fast and asked if I could please stay home. I said I would never say I was going to run away and I didn't.  The packing of the suitcase by my Dad cured me real good!

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Have a good day!

He was stationed in Okinowa and wasn't quick enough to get out of a bar where a bar fight started......before the police arrived.
