1. Where do you live? I live in Melbourne Australia

2. Spouse? Significant other? My dear heart NIck plus Oliver and Amy

3. Children - how many and ages. See question 2! both 4 legged and 2l egged

4. What do you do for a living? Medical Technologist who has gone back to where it all began Medical research

5. If you dare.....your age and describe yourself ! I know you won't tell a soul I'm 52, down to earth, hence Dachshounds. I care deeply about others, and very protective of friends and family. I also dont' take my self very seriously, oh thats enough of that

6. What is your dream car/vehicle? Color? Saab but lets be practical it would have to be a station wagon, I'd love black, but silver or champagne does not show the dust as bad.

7. Other than your passion for dachshunds, what are your hobbies? counted thread embroidery Samplers of any discription then there is patchwork and quilting, and reading

8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? at the present I'm home sick, so Scotland, but really any where but high on the list europe and north america

9. Do you collect anything? Scissors (mainly antique) and books and antique jewellery

10. Favorite Food/ Favorite junkfood. food baked fillet of tasmanian ocean trout, new potatoes and a salad take away gotta be PIZZA

11. Favorite Movie Highlander 1

12. Favorite Color red or black (hence dachshounds)

13. Favorite Song/Artist Rondo veneziano, fleetwood mac and Run Rig

14. Tell us a funny story about yourself. being silly one christmas and acting like a dog to have my brother use the photos for my 50th

15. What is the most exciting thing you have ever done? go on a trip arround the world with NIck, knowing he was the one, then returning and getting married a few months later, which led to our first Dachshound Emma.

16. If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money? build on our block give up work and get my family settled

17. What are you most proud of? finnishing higher education after being walked out on by my first husband

18. Any other tidbits about you that you would like to share? Come on..... I have warped sense of humour, well thats pathology. I don't care what people think of the way I act or dress, as thats there problem.

distance from belly to floor is a big "0" I take I've to lie on the floor!!!!!!!!

Verrrrry nice introduction. How long have you been in Australia? I was not familiar with Rondo Veneziano, so I looked them up on Amazon.com. Interesting stuff. Do you know the group Bond? Julia S. (Brekke's mom) introduced them to me a couple years ago.

I love POD - such a fun idea! I think it's really neat how you'd like to come to North America. I read that part outloud and 2 people in my office wanna go to Australia - I didn't even tell them that's where you are! Maybe we can work out some sort of exchange program!

Mike, I've lived down under since 1969 and had numerous trips back to keep my accent up. As for Bond I have all their cd's, Rondo I got onto while looking for Sky and got hooked.
We went to New England and and Brititsh columbia in trips years ago, but we loved both plus I now ahave a lot of Dachies plus owners to visit, so yes and exchange program would be good.

Schatzi and Molly here: Our mom has a 1992 Saab convertible and we LOVE it when she has the top down. We haven't goneferaride in a long time 'cause its been too hot. She says she would love a newer one, but has put too much money in the old one right now to justify replacing it quite yet!

Roberta, I love your POD write up and I do enjoy the Saab. Randy bought it for him, and somehow I've ended up driving it all of the time now. They are a lot of fun to drive and I know now I'll always have a convertible.
I, too, want to go to Austrailia! How long ago did you take the trip around the world and meet Nick?
