Two-Tone Fudge = 1st. Place and Grand Champion AND C&H Sugar Award (gift certificate to local bakery......my co-workers will benefit from this!)

Cranberry Sauce = 1st. Place

Cranberry Conserve = 1st. Place

Had a good time on Friday. Bought the dogs new ID tags and Yummy Chummies. Gave blood and got a free t-shirt for that. Bought state fair shirts for Dan and me. Bought three log-pole pine seedlings, figured I would grow my own Christmas tree inside the house. :xfinger:
Ate some good food, too.

Way to go on your big wins! Two-tone fudge --- YUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! Is that the recipe with the Velveeta? Sounds like you had a nice time at the fair....shopping is always fun and a good spirit lifter. Is it still raining up there? I hope you caught a break with the rain. We have some nice downpours here in Ohio right now. I like the rain, except for when it floods our basement!

Hi Beth. No, this was not the Velveeta Fudge. This recipe used marshmallow creme. My mom has a recipe for Velveeta Peanut Butter Fudge that I want to try.
The rain has stopped for a couple of days, then there is more in the forecast. But things are draining off well during this break.
