Doggy Dressup at the 11th Annual Corndog Festival in Dallas, TX

Attention Dallas dachshund lovers! (Or anyone willing to travel to Dallas!):

This is an opportunity of a lifetime! Bring your dachshunds to participate in the Corndog Festival. Corn costumes will be provided AND one lucky ween will be crowned King or Queen of the Corndog Festival. There will be all manner of prizes for the furry participants and lots of fun for the non furry ones! I am SO EXCITED about this event!

Please, please RSVP so we can know how many corn costumes to make. We would like to have as much of the dachshund population present as possible. So come on out to Lakewood for some lovely dachsploitation!

This event gets a LOT of media exposure, and it's on the opening weekend of the state fair. Last year, Al Roker On the Road filmed at the Corndog Festival.

WOW !  I am in Coppell (suburb of Dallas) and have never heard of this !!!   That day is my birthday - so what a more perfect way to spend the day !!!!
