Four days of 100 degrees here in NW Montana. How is everybody else doing?

It was 112 in San Diego over the weekend and 105 today! So HOT!!

It has been in the 100s here in Nebraska too! We can hardly sleep at night because it doesn't cool off. There is also a huge fire burning in the hills because lightning struck a dry spot. Yesterday the fire had burned 2 square miles! Since the fire is in a very remote spot, it is making it really tough for them to get under control. We had a horrible wind storm last night, so I'm sure that got the fire going faster.

Yeah it was 113 in Escondido & 115 in El Cajon (at my house) over the weekend and on top of that there is a fire burning just east of my house burning towards my home. My hubby's "boss" had to Evac last night and I think the fire is still going strong :crazyeyes: lots of ash in our area thank G-d we moved the kitties when we did. NTM it rained some but the rain was dry right when it hit the pavement. Oh and I forgot our a/c went out last night

we had a tornado of fans going off in our bedroom

We are now on day 16 of an over-100 degree heat wave. It has been 113 and 111 the last two days - only supposed to be 108 today, though!

downright BALMY here now, about 85 !

and we don't have any of the forrest fires real near by.

Only 85 Ruth?! Oh how I wish that were the case here!!! We haven't gotten down to 85 since June!!!! (except at night) Right now it is 97 and rising here. Tomorrow and Saturday are supposed to be 101 and 102 for the high, but my guess is it will get much hotter than that. The coolest day for us is looking like next Wednesday. 90 degrees wooohooo!!! That will be the coolest it has been for a long time!! The humidity here today is awful too. Drink lots of water and stay cool everyone!!

They just updated our forecast...and it will be 83 degrees on Tuesday for the high!! I can hardly wait!!

It's well over 90 here in Iowa. I feel sorry for the RAGBRAI riders (Register's Great Bike Ride Across Iowa). They will be in Coralville tonight. Lance Armstrong rode a couple of legs and is testifying at a U.S. Senate field hearing at the University of Iowa Memorial Union about cancer research today.

Quite the buzz around here....

One of my co-workers and his wife are riding somewhere in Iowa right now. I didn't realize it could be in something special like this. I think his in-laws live in the Des Moines area.
