Favorite Things: Papa, Mommy, Dolly and a good quilt to chew holes in.

Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share: Before I lived wiff my mommy and papa, I lived in a cage.  I was so happy to be out in the sunshine and fresh air.  When mommy and papa came to get me, I came to the door wiff my old mommy dat kept me in da cage.  My papa thought I was so little that this couldn't possibly be the dog they had come for.  Well, here I was and I'm the one they took home.  Of course, I had to be a little bad before we went home.  I was dining on kitty rocha and grass and when we got in the car to go home, dat didn't sit very well.  Needless to say, I made a big mess all over my new mommy.  Whew!  She loved me anyway and didn't take me back to the bad place I was at.  When I got home, mommy and papa discovered dat I am a talker.  I have a 'pinion about ebberyting! and I shrill anytime my papa tries to sing or whistle.  Still, my mommy and papa loves me and cuddles me a lot.  I'm glad I found my forever home.

Oh Maddie, you have such personality. I'm so glad you mamma and papa took you away from your other home and saved you from living in a cage all day. A doggie like you needs to be in the sunshine where she can hunt. I hope you have a great DOD today and get lots of treats!
Sandi- I love the part about her being part of the double dachsie chastity belt. I guess we could call ours the double dog chastity belt, but it seems to work all the same!
Maddie seems to be such a fun pup. I'm sure you have a great time with her and I'm so glad you rescued her from the place she was before.

Happy DoD, Maddie! Are you and your sister baking in SLO like we are in Bakersfield?  Brekke says she hopes you get some brokli out of this one!  She is into green beans and baby carrots today - especially the frozen green beans!  Maybe your momma and papa will have 'sghetti and you and your sissie get to lick the plates!   Auntie Brenda got some Scots shortbread from Unca Mike in treat box 3, and she shared with me!  You can remind Dolly about the scintillating smell and flavor it has...  Smoochies!
