HELP PENNY LANE GOT INTO THE TRASH!!!

Here we go again..... Penny Lane ate a maxi pad... I mean I do not see any of it anywhere......   She isn't throwing up, and she doesn't have the runs? 

I know I have posted problems like this in the past, but the little one gets into the trash!!! she might be short, but she sure gets around!!!

Search high and low to make sure she didn't hide it somewhere.  Watch her very closely when she poops.  If she poops regularly for the next couple days - she may have not eaten it.  I would give your vet a call just for a heads up.  They might give you other tips to look for.

I know I looked all over and I still can not find it.  I will keep my eye on her poop.  She has been going a little.  The crazy thinng is I just took her to the vet last week, she bit through the baby gate and got upstairs and she was acting a little slower.... so off to the vet we went.  She got a clean bill of health and we were sent on our way.  And so here we are a few days later and I am in this position again!!!!

She just does it for spite!  I feel like the vet will think I am Britney Spears of the dog world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that something she would typically do, shred and eat something like that? It seems like you would have seen SOME little pieces of it? How much time do you think she had between when you know she didn't have it and when it was gone? Does she have a doggie door, could she have taken it outside to hide it? My Great Dane Fred once was playing with a rubber donut shaped toy. Then suddenly he didn't have it anymore. I searched high and low, I was right there the whole time. I panicked, called in sick for work, called the vet that I was on my way with Fred, was gathering my stuff and for some reason I decided to look behind the desk. There it was, clear under the part where the drawers are, I needed a flashlight to see it, the only way he could have done that was to have tossed it, it bounced off the wall and went just at the right angle to roll up under the desk. So strange things can happen, I second Barb, I'd call the vet to see what they say, if it is safe to wait and watch then you'll know within a day or two! Hang in there I just hate these episodes that get us so worried.

Just keep watching her...and watch her poop.  I'm sure you'll start seeing pieces of Maxi pad in the poop.   I think Rudy got a hold of one one time and shredded it and ate it.   It passed through his system no problem.  Sending some precautionary rays to Penny Lane, but I'm sure she'll be fine.

Hope you are seeing white poopies.....is not seeing poop at all - get her to the vet !!!!   Did you call your vet - did they have any ideas?
