And things are still looking well at about 14 1/2 weeks.  I heard our little Squirt's heartbeat again, and I was able to record it with John's MP3 player and then upload the file to our computer too, so we'll have it as a memory keepsake.

I am still down 9 pounds, and I have a sinus infection that came on this week, but other than that, things are going great.  Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts!

Hi Barb!  Yes, if Squirt cooperates and shows us, we will find out the gender.  The ultrasound should be in about 5 - 7 more weeks.  I see the doc again on July 17, and The ultrasound date will get set at that time.  John says Squirt is a girl.  I don't have an intuition about it though.  It doesn't matter to me anyways.  I just want a healthy baby.   :thumb:

That is so exciting.  Hang in there with the morning sickeness.  I can understand how you are feeling, with my second one I lost 18 lbs the first trimester and was in the hospital 5 time on IV's for dehydration.  It is all worth it in the end.  I will be thinking of you during your pregnancy.

Good to hear things are going well.  I lost weight due to morning sickness at first, but gained it with a vengeance once I was over the morning sickness.  In fact, Amy was two weeks early; still she weighed in at 8 pounds 9 ounces.  Doctor said it was a good thing she came a little early, no telling how big she would have been if she had gone full-term.

Amy is 20 years old now, but I remember when I first heard her heartbeat like it was yesterday....

I kind of like April myself!  lol

Seriously though I'm glad to hear things are going well for you.  I've been thinking about you and wondering.  Hopefully we'll get to hear more good stuff as time goes by.  When are you due again?

Thanks for the name suggestions ladies.   John is convinced that Squirt is a girl.  Time will tell.

I'm due around December 19th, so Squirt and I will very likely have the same birthstone since my birthday is December 7th.  I'll probably have just turned 29 when our little blessing is born.

Thats cool about the same birthstone....John can get you a Mothers Ring with his sandwiched between you and Squirt !!!

So what names are you kicking around?

For names we have pretty much decided that for a girl it would be Brooklyn Grace or Brooklyn Paige.  Honestly our favorite girl name is Avery, but because of some problems with one of my family members, we won't be considering using any names that begin with "A."

For a boy....we have considered Benjamin, Carter, Noah, Matthew, Jacob and a few others, but we don't have a standout yet.
