NDR - my "sister", Calli the cat

I have had 7 emails from my mom the last couple of days. Calli was having trouble and running into things, so she was off to the vet with dilated eyes. Her blood pressure was way up and they had her in for observation. She did no better after being hospitalized, and Mom said she was curled up in her cage, while the other cats were yowling to get out. They estimated it would take 4 to 5 days to regulate it and then she would be back in this circumstance in about two weeks. After much deliberation, she had her pts today. This just breaks my mom's heart, because Callie was my mom's helper after Dad passed away in October 2004. Now she's vacuuming up the cat hair... Godspeed, Calli - you are in a better place where you can be the kitty you were meant to be! (She was only 5 to 6 years old, and Mom finally got her inside 4 years ago, after leaving food out for this little stray kitty who was abandoned by her original owners, or ran away with the hustle and bustle of their move.)

I'm sorry to hear of Calli's passing.  I remember her being so timid.  At least she had a forever home the past 4 years.  Tell your mom we are thinking of her.

Your mom will be in my prayers.  How wonderful that she was able to provide such a loving home for Calli-Angel.  God Bless her for all she gave that special kitty.
