After much hand wringing and tear’s today, we brought our Little Man to the gates of Rainbow Bridge.. We knew it was coming but refused to see him requesting our help until yesterday.  After 24 hours of tears and talk we made this decision.

Unfortunately our faithful Vet has moved to California and we have been forced to find another to assist.  That was almost as much of a task as the decision was.  The vet here didn’t want us to stay with Snoopy which was un acceptable, therefore we went the 1 ½ hour drive to Las Vegas and took him to the old vet’s office.  I had called the Cremation Company, which took care of Charlie, and they will pick him up tomorrow. Fortunately they are here in Pahrump so I can get him without another trip into Las Vegas.

Snoopy was a good boy and lived a long life. I know he’s with Charlie and all the other doxie’s and hoomans enjoying pizza bones and free of pain.

We will miss our little Man…….

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.  How old Snoopy?
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.

Sending more HHHH's & PPPP's to you and Bobby and Petie. The DC Air Force is down to one now...just the navigator.   We will miss the care package flight tales for the suffering doxies. I know the old DC pups and people are really partying at the bridge and giving him a warm welcome and good to see you again!!!

Thanks to all, it's a tough week for us.  Merion, yup the doxie airforce is quieter.. we need to find some youngsters to take over the trips.  For those that don't know go to http://dachshundcircus.com/crawford.htm  and that will explain about the nightly rides my boy's did..

Yes MaryAnne, I remember your name and "handle".  Hope all is well with you and your clan

My sympathies go out to you and your family.  I know what it is to choose the time for a beloved furkid to cross the Rainbow Bridge.  May your memories of Snoopy be the best times and cuddles you shared!

Well Pamey. Zena might be willing to help out with the flights.  She is just  6 months so baring any unforeseen health problems she would be around for quite a while. She loves flying over everything around here including Zack  :walk2: so  a plane shouldn't bother her.  Petie can keep her in line. Now we just need one more pup to volunteer.

At 6 months she is already talking back to Zack and running him ragged so I think she would be a great navigator.   :director: Now we just need a pilot.  Too bad Zeke is gone he loved planes and would have made a great pilot.  Zack might work though he is a great copilot when we are going down the road and loves to watch :glasses1: where we are going.

You and Petie enjoy your hugs and cuddles.  It seems way too quiet when you get down to only one left :sad1:
