Full Name: Zuzu My Little Gingersnap (From “It’s a Wonderful Life”)

Everyone Calls Me: Zuzu, Zuzster, Good Girl, Little Girl, Chunky Monkey

Birthday, Age: Jan 25, 2001.  I was considering a dawg and my g-friend read an ad in the paper from a family who had 4 puppies.  They were very clean and well socialized and very, very, cute.  The other girl was spoken for, but Zuzu would have been my first pick, anyway.  Now that I understand more about backyard breeders, I will be getting my next pets through rescue.
Gotcha Day:  March 17, 2001  Here she is at my birthday party later that spring


Who I live with: mamma, pa & Loki-dawg
Hometown: Bucks County, PA -- But I hab traveled to Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey and West Virginia. I like to ride “shotgun” on mom’s lap, ‘specially ‘cause Loki is in the back seat running from window to window like a nutty-nut.
Length from base of neck to tail:  “Jumbo Shrimp” or “Tweenie”
Height from ground top of head: maybe 10 inches
Height from ground to belly: about four, but her fur reaches the ground.  In the grass it looks like she doesn't have any legs.
Hair Color: brown with black highlights
Eye Color: brown
Coat type: long hair, with extra puff

Weight: SHOULD BE about 13 pounds   I AM on a DIET. Momma is COUNTING Kibbles now.  Hmmmpf!  Now I am “Loki-hungry”

Favorite Person: ma!
Favorite Toy: anything I can de-stuff in less than a minute.  I will also chase a squeaky toy.  I wike to hang out in da garden, hunt mouses, or dig a little hole and lay in the cool dirt.


Best treat: Jerky jerky jerky
Worst torture (nails, ears, butt, teeth etc): DA VET’S OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where I sleep at night: in my crate next to Loki’s crate.  Momma made a cover for it so it looks real pwetty.
Favorite pastime: Happy Nappy on the sofa, pig-piled wiff Loki and mamma, collecting socks, squeaking my purple hedgehog

I am a hunter, yes or no: Yes, I hab killed a birdie and a mole.

What I do when Hoomans are away: I sleep on the sofa and bark out da window at da Poodles. 

Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:  Zuzu has never minded the rain and has always enjoyed splashing in rainwater run-off, so when we took her to a park with a little creek, she had a ball. She decided to hop from rock to rock, each time looking over at us and saying: “Look what I can do!”  I floated leaves in front of her and she watched them with excitement.  Soon she was knee deep (3”) in water, then 6” then the next thing she knew she was feeling for the bottom and she was swimming!!!! And yet, she hates a bath.  Go figure.
