THANK YOU, BARB!

Hi everyone,

Florida Dachshund Rescue held its annual picnic on Saturday, May 27, and one of the WW's own, Barb Ivey (actually one of Barb's furkids, Brandy), won the 50-50 raffle!

The total amount of the raffle came to $978, which meant $489 for FLDR and $489 to the winner. Barb donated her entire winnings back to the foster doxies of FLDR! Thank you so much, Barb, for your generosity.


With all the raffles and other goodies available, we were able to clear about $2500 to help us with vet expenses and other needs for our foster dogs.

Who would have thunk it ?!?!?!?!?!?  HA - I (or Brandy !) have never won anything.  Since Brandy is from rescue, it makes it extra special that we "give back" !   So glad the event did so well - your group, along with all other rescue groups do such good work - we are proud to help out.  Thanks for all you do !!!!

As I'm sure you know, Toby came to us through the Florida Dachshund Rescue.  They are truely an amazing group and I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation!  People like YOU make it possible for puppers like my Toby to find forever homes.  You are the best!  Hugs to you!
