Last night was the second Seder (meal) for Passover.  We did it at my in-laws.  The upside is that Max gets invited, too.   So, we loaded the family into the car.   Poor Max freaked out in the car (maybe he thought he was going to the vet?)  He was whining and panting the whole way there.

Once we arrived, as soon as I set him down, he sniffed the air, shook his ears and everything was back to normal again.   He met up with his cousin Duke, an elderly terrier mix.   Duke was trying to be a bit too amorous with Max, much to my mother-in-law's chagrin.   Max also got to meet the neighbors dogs.  She has about six dogs, most of them rescues.   So here is Max on one side of the fence with four of them lined up on the other side of the fence.  Max struck his most aggressive pose and let out a couple of deep (for Max) barks.   Eventually they all just sniffed each others snouts through the fence.

Both Duke & Max camped out underneath the kitchen table and both were able to score, at least a little bit.  Jessica was not cooperative in dropping the puppers food.

My mother in law wanted to take Max on the leash to see how he walks.   After a while, she turned to me and said "Is that as fast as he goes?".   Yes.  That is as fast as he goes.  When you're 17, what's your hurry?

On the way back home, Max was much calmer.  He just conked out on the passenger seat (Margie was in the back with Jessica).   Max weighs just enough that he can touch off the "Fasten Seat Belts" sensor.   So, periodically, you'd see the Fasten Seat Belt light start to blink.

We go on vacation in July and Max will return to my in-laws and Duke to stay with them.  I think he'll be just fine.
