by Laura Rader.  It is a children's book, and I heard about it a couple of months ago, but didn't see it anywhere, considered ordering it at Barnes & Noble, then went online at Amazon and found a library binding in hardback (which is a tougher, more durable binding than regular bindings), and ordered it on March 2.  It was shipped March 6, I got it today, it came through in great shape, and I have read it and can't wait to read to my class!  So what if it isn't Christmas!  Santa has a cat and a red smooth dachsie, as he searches for the perfect new suit - would you believe purple plaid?  Brekke has a new dachsie storytime book to go with some of our others!

Umm, I think only the Treat Fairy would wear purple plaid....
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.
