In April, my hubby and I have a cousin's wedding to attend which will be at least a 6 hour car trip.  We are debating on whether or not to take Porky with us, or leave him with his "grandma."  We have found quite a few pet friendly hotels in the area, but are worried about how long he would spend alone if he came with us.  But, he has never been away from us overnight except when he got neutered and then he was so drugged he didn't care.  Anybody got an opinion on what we should do to make him comfortable that weekend?

Then for Easter we have another long weekend trip.  We are planning on going to my grandma's house and taking Porky with us.  This will be a very long drive also!  We are travelling in the evening and night so hopefully Porky will sleep most of the way so we don't have to stop every two hours for a potty break.    We are concerned about this trip because also going to grandma's is my cousin and her daughter who is just learning to walk.  We are a little apprehensive about Porky trying to play with her and knocking her down or that she may accidentally hurt him.  We are going to be gone 3 or 4 days so leaving him home is out of the question and we have no one to puppysit.  He has been around babies a lot, so we shouldn't have to worry about him biting because of fear, but I'm just not sure.  Any suggestions on what we can do to make these trips enjoyable for all would be great.

Sorry for the long post.  Just needed to get some advice on those two things.  Thanks!
