Introducing Porky!

Just wanted to introduce myself and my 10 month old puppy Porky. We got him from a breeder last May.  I could not be happier with him, he is the sweetest dog!  Porky and I love to spend time together and play outside.  He is a miniature Piebald Dachshund.  Porky also has two best friends named Peter and Petunia.  They are our kittens who are a month older than him.  Porky's favorite food is broccoli.  I have noticed in the last few months that he has allergies so he takes medication for it as needed.  Other than that, he is a healthy happy puppy.  His favorite thing to do is capture his "daddy's" socks and run around the house with them like a prize.  Porky loves to snuggle and be wrapped up in blankets like a baby.  His favorite time of the day is when his "daddy" gets home from work.  He can hear his car when it is still two blocks away!  Porky will run and sit by the front door as soon as he hears the car, so he can greet "daddy" right away.  He obviously has excellent hearing because no one else hears the car until it pulls up in the drive.  I am thinking of training Porky as a therapy dog as he is very gentle and loves people of all ages.  I have not yet made up my mind yet on that.    Thanks.  Porky gives lots of love and licks to you all!!!  The picture I attached was taken when he was 2 months old.

So happy to meet you and precious Porky!  Wow!  I'm jealous that Porky gets along with C.A.T.S.  Mine are not so accepting of the feline variety.  I hope you enjoy your time here and will give us many stories about Porky and his pals.  I am owned by Dolly (red brindle smooth tweener wiener) and Madison aka Madderoo or Maddie (b/t smooth mini).  This is a great place to yack it up about our babies.  We live on the Central Coast of CA.

I'm new here too. Everyone here is very nice. I'm glad you and Porky are here too. I have two furbabies, Dash and Annie, brother and sister Dapple tweenies from the same litter. They are just over 6 months and like your baby, they own cats and get along very well with them.  :thumb: Can't wait to hear more of Porky's adventures.
