has a dachsie named Frida Kahlo, a Welsh corgi, and a cat!  Her hubby was raised with dachsies!  Frida is a rescue - a black and tan, and she is on dogster.  Rebecca teaches 3rd grade.  I think it is so cool!  We showed each other our web pages yesterday and today.

Hi, I am the teacher next door!  I was so excited to learn of my neighbor's dogs too.  This is my first post to the site and I have had a great time looking around.  I will talk with you soon!  I have added a picture of Frida in her new pink cashmere sweater that a friend knitted for her.  It is a perfect fit!  I know, she looks like a big sausage in it...but I have not told her.

Eddie here - Hey Dolly we had a possum on our fence tonite and I barked at him to go away, but hr just sat there and I kept watching him until momma came out and made me go in the house.  I was only 'tecting her.

Marcia here - Eddie has decided that he wants to stay out way after dark(11:30 P.M. yesterday) and refuses to come in even for a greenie.  Tonight I heard him bark, but it wasn't his typicall CRITTER!!! bark so I let it go.  5 minutes later the bark came again so I went out to see.  Sure enough there was a possum on the fence, behind a bush.  It took several tries, but Eddie did come in, and he was panting like crazy - now he is zonked out on the floor.

HI and welcome to our Doxie Haven. We have lots of fun around here and learn a lot about each other's furbabies and families. I live in SC with a smooth red female mini named Schatzi and an English Bulldog named Molly. Oh, I also have a husband, Randy and a daughter, Meghan who is a college junior. I'm currently waiting on her to send me pictures of her from yesterday when she went skeet shooting. Being that she is a city girl through and through this could be interesting! Can't wait to hear more about you and your family. I love the sweater!

Rebecca was amazed to find out I have met some of you in person!   Heheheh - Patty, I told her how Misty pushed my girls off my lap at DD's, and about Sandy, Mark, and their Dolly and Maddie being here in my home, plus Unca Mike, and that I have been to Nikki's and Delia's, and met Barb and hers, Eleanor and her doggies, plus Maria and her hubby and threesome, and Amy and Owen, plus Noel, and then there's Adela and Mitch and Ninya and Ochoco, plus Chrissie, Bruce, George and Dauber, and more I have met and am on a brain burp right now - sorry!  I have talked with Marcia and Yamisi on the phone, and lots with Nikki, of course, since Max and Brekke are an item!   JS

Thank you so much for the warm welcome from everybody!  I could not resist and had to post a few pictures in Frida's gallery.  I was sad to tell Julia that Frida is not the most socially correct dog around other doxies.  I think that she might be a bit put off that she is not the only doxie out there.  Just a hunch.
