You take the high road And I'll take the low road, And I'll be in Scotland a'fore ye, For me and my true love Will never meet again, On the bonny, bonny banks of Loch LOMMOND!

Murroka Lommond is his full registered title. Yes that's what he is named for Jane was thinking of giving him an everyday name Innis is one Ben as in Ben Lommond or Lchie after Loch Lommond, but he has got used to Lommond. When they were puttin him in the float to bring him home Jane called him honeybunch, the strapper said as they were going "I think honybunch is going to a good home to be very spoilt" Jane is hoping to show him in the district in the led class and maybe in long harness then next year we will be looking at the Royal Show. Karen we have been tying to rework the song and got
You take the right flank and I'll take the left flank and I'll meet you at his head at some time...................
please feel free to rework or add to it

I used to play that song quite often. The story I heard was that the English would kill every other Scot captured in battle and then send the other home. The low road (?) referred to the soldier to be killed and the high road soldier lived but even in death, the low road soldier would still make it home again, and before the other. Ron
