My baby Romeo saved my life last night

Ok so I have to tell a little bit of my life first......I lost my only child my son on August 17, 06 my X husband committed suicde and murder my son by carbon monxide in his vechile.  Well his heavenly birthday is this month July 28th he would have been 15.  Well my hubby I have now was not with me when it happend and so he did not get to see how I acted which was just out of my mind as you could guess.  Well I have what he calls "spells" not sure what you would call them but I go to sleep and then I like start dreaming or thinking of something with my son and I wake up and just go out of mind crying and saying things like we have to go get him and stuff like this.  Well last night I had another one and my hubby is hard of hearing and wears an hearing aide and of course takes it out when we go to bed....so he can't hear nothing and I must have gotten up softly because he did not hear me and I got up slipped on my slip on shoes and got the cars keys and opened the laundry room door then opened the other door and there I was outside so I opened the garage door and stood there for a while saying I have to go get him I have to go well Romeo got up and went to the door and then went back and woke Chris up and Chris came outside turned the car off and got me in the house.  So Romeo saved me and is my hero beyond belife.  I am so proud of you Romeo and so happy you are my baby boy.  I love you so much Romeo and I miss you so much Zach.

Wow.  That is quite an astonishing story.  I knew you had lost your son, but never knew the circumstances behind it.  Thank you for sharing with your honesty and candor.   I cannot imagine what you must have been going through, and still go through.

It's amazing what our puppers are capable of doing.   Bless Romeo's soul.

God bless you and God bless Romeo - although it sounds he already has blessed both of you in bringing you together.  I can´t begin to imagine the loss you have suffered and how traumatic it must still be for you yet it´s amazing and humbling to see how these little tiny dachshunds can read every iota of our hearts and minds and know exactly what we need and when.  Please give Romeo a huge hug from us and Chris deserves one too! It´s lovely you have a supportive husband and a miracle dachsie to accompany you now.

I just want to thank you all for your kind words and thoughts for both me and Romeo....yes he is a gift from God and my son and I tell you what God put my son in that dog that is for sure.  I just love him so much and don't know what I would do without him.  Thanks again all I sure appreciate the support and love here it is awesome.  All our puppers are awesome and special every single one.

If I said it once I said it a dozen times...my dogs are Guardian Angels in disguise...and I won't go into detail but my crew has saved me more than once.

Im glad to know that Im not the only one that was given the gift of a Guardian.
