Taking a break from moving....I'm in shock!

Well, I ran out of boxes and tape, so I figured I woud plug in the tv and watch the Nebraska-Texas football game.  First of all the reception on the channel was amazing, which never happens.  Then, Nebraska got three points and were tied with Texas.   Now, they are in the lead at the half!   I feel like I'm watching a totally diferent team!  Finally!   :apls:   

My hubby and I are definately not going to be done with the moving today like we originally thought.  He is working till 5:30 and then he, I and Porky are going to take a small load out to the new house and unpack all the boxes we already have in there.  That way we can come home and finish packing the rest of our stuff.  If we're not too tired, we ware going to pack up the rest of the stuff and make a second trip out there.  Hopefully our moving will be finished tomorrow or tomorrow night.  I have to be at work by 5 am on Monday. It would be nice to be somewhat settled by then.   We'll see.   

Our help got sick so...we are trying to move everything ourselves.  The washer/dryer, bed, and entertainment center are going to have to wait.   There is no way i'm strong enough to help my husband carry that stuff onto the truck.     I can only lift about 50 pounds without killing myself.   :xfinger:  We're going to call and check in with our help and see if he is feeling better yet.   :xfinger: I really hope he is.   Maybe my offer of $100 for helping will rouse him out of bed.     I really don't want him to help if he is sick though. His rest is way more important.

You have had one hectic fast moving move !!!  Hope your help feels better tomorrow and can help get the rest of the stuff.   If you are able to get some unpacking done - that is a good thing !!!

Well, my shock didn't last long, since they ended up losing.    The moving is finally done. But, I'm sick so...instead of unpacking, I have to rest.   Leaving my husband to set up my kitchen and house for me.  I guess the control freak in me is coming out. :crazyeyes: Its driving me crazy not being able to set things up like  I want.   He is doing a great job though, so far he's putting everything where I would have. And, if he's not sure, he comes to the bedroom and asks first.   :apls: 

My mom is coming on Friday to help me unpack some things.  Hopefully it won't be such an awful mess when she comes.   Since the boys just threw things down wherever, the house looks like a dump!    But, the plus side is that, I don't think it will take long to get the unpacking done.
