Anyone know how to get Patches to eat her green beans at first she was all for eating them now she does not want to eat them nor the pumpkin I even heat the green beans up. She looks at me like I'm a dog not a cow did switch her to Canidae All Life Stages thats what Buddy eats.Of course Gizmo has to be different she eats Prairie Chicken & Rice, Patches is also unhappy because I guard her like a hawk and pick up all foods, then put Gizmo's food back down at night everyone else is in crates, so Patches cannot go around eating every one else's food too.Next time I go to the store will get more carrots patches seems to like them as well.I'm finding out Doxie's are pigs in dog suites Patches is anyway.

Have you tried grinding them up small and mixing them in with her food? The first time I gave Hallie green beans she was eating her meal, got a bean in her mouth, froze, eyes got big and spit it out onto the floor. Now she loves them and will eat them out of my hand. She's eaten her pumpkin from the beginning though. She loves the raw carrots though (I plant a bunch in the garden every year for her we have a frige full now) so if Patches will eat those, yeay!

Maybe you could try not giving her the green beans or pumpkin for a while, but don't replace that amount with any other food, she might look forward to it when you add them back in.

I made "green bean gravy" for Cajsa.  Basically that means taking cooked, unsalted green beans and putting them in the blender.  When they are pureed and relatively smooth, they are "gravy" and I poured it over her food.  She loved getting the "green gravy" and wouldn't eat until I gave it to her once she realized she would get it every night!

Thanks for all the ideas on the Green beans will try them all & see what happens.
Ordered Buddy a coat a inexpensive one since he is still growing & everything goes in his mouth asked them if they made coats for Doxie's said they were thinking of adding them to there line.Asked if Patches might model them? well tried to take a good picture of her to send them so they could see what she looked like. Do you think Patches would look at the camera no way so guess she would not make a very good model the brat. Will try one more time to see if she will pose for me I tried to take about 6 pics out of 6 none came out well.Guess I will take a few pictures of Gizmo she loves to pose for the camera and try ignoring Patches while I take Gizzy pic see if that will change her stuck up self. May also take Buddy's pic he looks right at the camera he also seems to like having his pic taken.

I also puree the no-salt green beans and never have any trouble - unless there is no "gravy"!  LOL!   Good luck!  :xfinger:

What about pureeing her green beans and putting some chicken or ham  bullion in for flavor and then reducing the bullion flavor as time goes by so that she is eating just the beans and her dog food?
