Here is a link to the one I ordered (the pet grooming tool).  I am sure you can get something comparable other places - but I was lazy and found this and just got it !!!

I kept it by the couch and each night I would turn it on while the dogs were in my lap - not touching them - just getting them used to the sound.  When it was off, I would play with their toes and rub the dremel on their toes. When starting to finally use - I did 2-3 short taps on a couple toes.  Just took it slowly until I was able to do all 4 paws.  Brandy is much better than Rudy - and I try to do it outside - first because I can see better and also because the sun kinda makes them drowsy.

Figuring out how to hold them is one of the hardest things. I believe Patty and Dan do it together - one holds, the other dremels.  I do it myself and for the front paws - the are sitting sideways on my lap and for the back paws, I lay them like a baby.  You will just have to work out what works best for you and Hunny - to get the right angle to grind.

You might try googling Dremeling dogs and I know there are some instructions out there.  I printed them off when I first started - but who knows where they are now !!!

Good luck !

It comes with 4 or 5 - so I haven't had to look yet.  I am hoping that Home Depot or Lowe's will carry them.  I will take one with me when I go look.   They don't wear very fast.

Home Depot carries the replacement sanding bands in their "tool corral".

I've dremeled my dogs.   It was funny.  Rudy abhorred getting his front paws done, but didn't seem to care about his back paws, and Max was the opposite.   Max used to get pretty comfortable while I was dremling him:

He's definitely a bit more neurotic about it now, but he's just more neurotic, in general, mostly due to his age (17 years, 5 months).
