We moved into a townhome complex, so the units are very close to one another, and the front doors are just feet from each other.  We have an end unit, so there is only one neighbor attached to us.  Saturday my husband was carrying boxes out to the Jeep to transport to our storage facility, and he left the front door open.  At that same time, our neighbor was coming out of her apartment.  Chilie ran out of our front door, so I followed her to bring her back in and to my surprise, she ran right inside our neighbor's house!  I apologized to our neighbor, and she said that's ok....she and her daughter like dogs.  Her daughter picked Chilie up and brought her back outside to me.  I'm glad that our neighbors are friendly!

Too funny !!!!  She was letting the neighbors know...HERE I AM !!!!

Every once in a while, I take Rudy and Brandy off leash when I go to our mailbox.  Rudy LOVES the neighbors next door and has run into their house twice....tis embarrasing when I am yelling, come here, come here - and he is just running from room to room exploring..... HA !!!!

Now I always peek out and make sure no one is outside !!!

Ha!  that's funny!!!  Dolly likes to do unauthorized exploring too.  'Specially if there is the hint of kitty smell in the air! :2funny:
But she definitely knows where she lives.  When we go for a walk, sometimes I'll unleash her about a house away.  She knows our driveway and will beat us to the front door.

Hahaha. That is too funny!!! She took it upon herself to be the welcome wagon. You GO, Chilie!!!

That's funny!  At least it was Chilie and not Lara!  Elf took it upon herself this past Halloween to run in our neighbor's house after the dog!  She wouldn't come back to me and I had to go in and get her.  We ended up staying a few minutes to play with the dog and all so it wasn't such a big deal but it was embarrassing to have your child race into a house uninvited!
