Patches alerts me when I have lows with my diabetes she is nine years old very spoil t was wondering if another dachshund would also learn to alert for lows or could be taught to ? In the future would love to get a chocolate dapple miniature girl ? Wonder if Dachshund smooths have the temperament to be a service dog. Patches has a great temperament not a 100% sure about being around little kids I think kids were mean to Patches I know the people I got her from had kids got her at 16 weeks old. Any Thoughts?
