Amorette posts dalily, and it seems that Cash is doing better.  Here's is her last post about 19 hours ago.

Cash is still hating his BiPaP mask and fights against it by breathing faster than the puff of air. We have to keep him sedated with Ativan and Clonodine just to keep him from freaking out. When he is awake he is pushing on the mask trying to get it off. The respiratory therapists and ENT team think he is probably ready for high flow oxygen, but NICU team is being extra cautious and waiting. Cash has a flexible laryngoscope tomorrow so ENT can take a look at his vocal cords and make sure the swelling and scar tissue still looks reduced. Then they may insist in getting rid of the mask if it looks good. Without their insistence he would probably still be on the breathing tube. I really am enjoying their hard work and advocating to fix Cash's airway. They have been amazing at explaining everything. Our attending doctor this week in the NICU always ends rounds by getting my opinion in any changes they have suggested and if I'm not on board or have other ideas, they change the plan

Porky jumped up on the couch the other day, kissed Cash on the head, and settled down beside his hoobrother.  Cash is going back at the hospital for another surgery Thursday.  Amorette posted a picture of Cash at 5 months, now able to wear newborn clothes, so he is little!
