Still not sure of the move-in date, but the work on the place is steady. We won't be in by Christmas. They are getting ready to texture and paint the inside of the house. I'm glad that we are building during the winter, even though some of the problems we've had along the way have been due to the frozen ground, like getting our gas line and telephone line in. We will be in the house by spring and then the grounds will be able to heal and get green again, and we'll have fun doing some landscaping.
It's looking gorgeous Patty! The house...not the snow! LOL! I love the jacuzzi tub in your bathroom. Will your master bedroom be the loft? It really is amazing how quickly it's going up! Seems like we were just getting pics of the groundbreaking and now your close to finished! Just beautiful!

Yep, the master bedroom is in the loft. Its huge, and so is that master bath. We're tickled pink about the whole thing. Dan cannot wait to start fixing up his new shop with shelves and work benches. I bought him a pair of walkie-talkies for Christmas so we can communicate between the house and shop, or at least tell him when dinner is ready. I'll never see him once we move over.
Wow Patty. Thanks for letting us come along and watch your dream come true! That house is GORGEOUS and with the snow outside, it's like a Christmas card. The horse shots are great, love the blue of the shadows with those colors and yeay some doxie pics! They look great too. You must be so excited about the house coming along!!
The furry kids are as cute as ever and the house is really coming along! I really like how it looks so far. Thanks for sharing with us Patty! Give all the horses and dachsies a snuggle from me!
Pictures are great, Patty. You must be so excited watching it form. Outside looks a lot like outside our house these days. It has been snowing since Sunday......just got really cold Monday. It was 8 this morning!

WOW Patty, this is incredibly beautiful! It's like in a picture - one keeps looking for the fairies to come out from the snow! And Neeki is gorgeous! She's gonna be a looker when she's grown up!
The house is looking great. Neeki is getting so big. I did notice that Willy & Alex are starting to get a bit grey around their snouts. <sniff!>, the Weiner Writing Board's original puppy class of '98 is starting to age <sniff!> <sniff!>
:thumb: The house is looking great and I know how excited you must be to get in it. Neeki looks really nice and all the horse look like they are doing well. Seems strange for the youngsters to be showing the grey now. Unfortunately they don't stay young long enough.
