Title: Combing your doxie
Post by: Barry on January 06, 2014, 06:17:41 PM
I have a smooth doxie. I use one of those "glove combs" on her.  Anybody use anything different?

Hilde has her own small tooth human comb I bought.  She doesn't really like it when I comb her, except down her spine, but a short haired she doesn't get combed a lot.

I either use a hound glove (a glove with a lot of rubber bumps on it) or a flea comb.

I use a rubber curry brush. It cleans off shedding hair and dust pretty well. :)

Being long hairs I use a comb and a brush and a fine wire one that gets rid of the undercoat...............some members of the family HATE brushing.............Amy and Oliver cannot get enough.
