I am on the MWDR email list and was informed of their fund raising event last Saturday. I decided to see how Hunter would do in a herd of dachshunds. I'm happy to say he did quite well. There were dogs of all sizes, coats and colors and I didn't see any overweight dogs. His last encounter was with Sassie, a 10 week old dapple grrrl. He smelled her alllll over and thought she was pretty interesting. Her owner said that several other dogs were fixated about washing her ears but they must have done a good job 'coz Hunter wasn't interested in giving her a bath. I told them about the Board and hope to see them here in the future.
Sounds like a wonderful day out. I love the photo of both of them too. The more the merrier as far as dachsies are concerned I reckon.
