Title: Rays for Duggie on Wednesday
Post by: DeeanDave on April 09, 2013, 10:59:11 AM
Duggie could use some rays tomorrow...he will be going in for a dental (long overdue) and also to remove two small lumps at the base of his chest bone and on his private area. Initially we were scheduled for the lump removal and while under added the dental.  Goes in between 7 and 8 am and will be there until I pick him up in the evening. Normally, I pick him up at 5 but I have a meeting from 5 to 7 pm so he will be at the hospital until 7:30 pm.  They told me they would love on him til I got there....if I could get out of the meeting I would but this the one meeting that I need to be at since it involves a women's investment group and I hold a officer position.  Duggie says thank you for the rays.  And, he will not be happy with me.  He gets so nervous ........ Shakes really hard and his heart beats 100 miles an hour!

Lots of rays coming your way. Poor little Duggie, that is a lot to go through in one session, he will have earned tons of gentle cuddles and treats by the time you see him after your meeting.  Pawsies crossed that all goes well.

Update on Duggie.....I just called and he is coming out of the anathesia (sp??)....was under for just over an hour.  The lump on his chest was a fatty one; the one on his scrotum was a fiber and based on its location, the doc suggested that we send it in for analysis.  And, then they found a cyst at the base of his tail which was soft so they also removed that one.  Has sutures which will come out in 14 days......now to keep him quiet and dry for that time!  He had 9 teeth removed from the back of is mouth.....doc said he had a lot of hair caught in them an slight infection in that area.  Said the removals were routine in nature.  They have given him an injection for pain and will send home medicine for him.  Doc said he thought he could go home around 5 but to call first.  I told him that I would pick him up around 7:30 since I had a meeting that I needed to be a from 5 to 7.  I will call and check on him again before I leave for my meeting.
