Title: It's Show Time!
Post by: BonniesMom on March 30, 2013, 10:23:35 AM
Today I do my business Launch by holding an Open House and Dip Party.  I made little white cakes last night with caramel icing and made up 4 dips using Watkins yummy Dip and Seasoning.  The Dip just happens to be on sale next month, so taking advantage of our Double Promotion-where you can get Sale Prices on all March AND April specials through the 5th, it's an excellent time to do an event with these.

I have invited our whole mobile home community (about 200 homes) and various friends.  I HOPE to get at least 40 but Mark says I'm being too optimistic.

If you would like to see what's dippin' at Watkins, please take a look at what's on sale now!  Just go to www.watkinsonline.com and click on either March or April Specials.  March Specials are good until the 5th of April.  If you order, will you please us my associate number 369332?

Off to get this party rolling!
Thanks everyone for supporting my efforts to bust out on my own!  :thumb:

:2funny: I guess one COULD read that I will be spreading dip on cake.  No.  I have tater chips too.  It's a little salted caramel theme I have going, I think.  I wish you were here so you could come out and do some tastings.

I did my vanilla test....which folks coming out can do today themselves.  I put some Watkins Double Strength (Low Alcohol) Vanilla between my finger and thumb and the same on the other hand with McCormick Pure Extract.  Rub together, causing friction.  The result?  Watkins DS Vanilla is soooo fragrant.  The McCormick, I could BARELY smell.  The point?  Watkins doesn't evaporate when heated which makes it an excellent vanilla for baking and freezing.  The pure extract does have its place though.  It's great for non-baked items like flavored whipped cream!  Real Vanilla Extract?  Skip the other brands.  Go Organic.  Go Watkins.

Things went well for a first event.  I'm glad I did it.  Glad it's done.  Now I need a nap.  Bonnie?  Wanna nap with mommy?

We'll even snuggle in the BIG chair.   (Bonnie loves our big recliner).
