Title: Look what my Parent built for ME!
Post by: Teresa on March 09, 2013, 07:15:55 AM
Well, they say it is really for my grand pop, but I think it is for ME and Grandpop. Mom and Dad say they don't think they are going to see me very much anymore in a few weeks, but what do they expect? A low window, a glass door, a DECK, and Grandpop's lap. What more would a doxie want?

Randy's dad will move into his space in about three weeks. We just have a few more things to finish, mainly outdoors. Schatzi loves exploring the space, and has been great having the people here working. She will sit at the door that leads to the new area on the weekends thinking they should be here and she should go visit. Next week we are having new floors put down throught the house and new area and a patio poured and landscaping done outside. After that, it just a matter of a few minor things in the room and it will be move-in time. We have had an awesome builder and this has been a great experience.

Fantastic.  Now just how many dachsies can come and be with you father-in-law in such a huge space?

Wow Schatzi!  Looks like you can have a full house of dachsies (with your Grand Pop, of course) in that room.  A grand Dachsie Clubhouse!

Thanks everyone. Pops would probably love lots of dachshunds! We are almost done. We just have to put in a few cabinets and have the patio poured next week. Then it will be time for grass to be planted and the fence to go back up. Schatzi will soon have a backyard again! Move-in day will hopefully be Easter weekend.
