Oklahoma is backwards they stopped horse slaughter a few years ago in Oklahoma now they have rushed it back though Fast only needs the Gov. Mary Fallin I have signed petitions trying to stop this but the main people pushing this though is republicans I have nothing against them but they seem to have lost their minds. There have been article after article in the newspaper they want the horse slaughter because of all the old horses left to starve in pastures. BUT they want to send all this horse meat over seas where they eat horse. You cannot tell me they want to eat OLD horses. I know if this horse slaughter business starts up in Oklahoma horses will be stolen sent to slaughter they do not kill them humanely please help. Seems like no one in goverment wants to listen to the people.

mmmmmm...horse...I like mine with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Why not old horse.
Old cow ends up as hamburger. Dairy cows are good for milking for about 4 years. After that they are sent to the slaughter house and then McDonalds...
Sorry not funny JetEd73 I will not say what I'm thinking about your comment.
Well apparently Horse is going on the menu somewhere in the US.

Honestly I would not order and eat horse any more than I would order and eat fried dog paws.
My guess is that we don't eat horse because they were considered work and transportation animals...VS cows... that have always been some form of food.
