Take all precautions and check in when you can. This is one massive storm. We are being missed by less than 60 miles ( and a mountain range) or we would be seeing the snow from it-something unheard of here in SC in October.
Sending prayers and rays to everyone in harms way.
Thanks. We're hunkering down and just going to ride this one out.
AGREED !!! Please check in when you are able... Sending rayz and prayers for all our East Coast friends !

Looks like we made it through and kept our power the whole time. We still have some rain, but the winds have died down considerably. My basement flooded a bit, but otherwise, we're ok.
Made it through with minimal hassle. Power was out overnight, but not as much rain -- so the sump pump was not an issue. Lost some old fence sections, so the Zuster has to go out escorted for awhile. Other than that, I filled the chest freezer with about 20 frozen water bottles, so I think the Thanksgiving turkey is OK :thumb:
Stuff is still falling, here and there, so stay safe!!
we've been watching coverage of the storm on Fox and the Weather Channel - yikes! We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
