She's just tired and wishes to be a lady of leisure. And she is very very leisurely. She sleeps all day. Is up for brief moments and then it's back to the futon for another snooze. We have noticed pretty recently that this sweet girl with the bionic ears (could hear a piece of cheese drop on the floor from across the house and come running) is now almost deaf. Our little girl has nasty cataracts now and while she can still see enough to get around, she sometimes stumbles on the back steps. It's so discouraging that my little wiggle butt is slowing down, to me, rather rapidly. Bonnie has officially retired and will now only be served 24 hours by her loyal servants.
I love you my Bonnie Wienerdog.
With the nights drawing in your sweet little wiggly butt Bonnie has clearly decided over- exercising is not for her and is snuggling in for a restful Autumn and Winter. We hope she perks up again as Spring comes around and gets to share many more joys with you.
Hate it when the start to age like this. :( But sounds like she is very happy and just loves to snooze. We all do that as we get older. :thumb: Sweet Bon Bon!
:comfort: My little stud muffin, Guinness, is also a champion napper. He has a cataract in his left eye & one is starting on the right, he's pretty much deaf and he tends to plod rather than walk. But he loves to grunt with pleasure whenever I pick him up and cuddle him, and he loves his dinner. 17 years, 7 months & he keeps on ticking, bless him.
Auntie Keren
Nothing wrong with chillin like a villan. It's important to save energy for things that matter.......like food!!!!
